March mini blog madness has come to an end. Thank f#ck. I won’t be doing daily blog posts again after today. Although I may still shoot up the odd short post when the urge takes me.
I’ve really enjoyed the past month. It’s been challenging most days and tested my self – discipline, especially since I wrote every post the day of publishing meaning I was often up late finishing each one. Not a wise decision in terms of my sleep quality or even the quality of posts.
It’s helped to focus my views and also highlighted areas that need more debate and openness, most things surrounding roasteries seemed to be a hot issue so I’ll re-explore some of these posts in further detail.
I realise some of my posts, due to the short nature, were not fully fleshed out and in some the quality/concept wasn’t really good enough. These occurred when the time constraints were getting to me but that won’t be the case in the future.
I’m looking forward to getting back to much longer, quality focused posts that fully develop an opinion or argument plus some detailed experiments I want to carry out and publish.
Overall it’s been a worthwhile experience and has inspired me to continue writing. I find writing on a subject quite therapeutic, ideas I tend to over-think can be released into the world and I can then focus on other things. Whether they’re apreciated or not.
Hopefully I’m providing some value to those of you who take the time to read each post. I know I’ve really improved my own understanding by thinkng on your comments and counter-arguments.
Thank you all for the support. I will continue to be the fool who asks the obvious questions so long as the experience is as rewarding as it has been this past month.
